Eleventh studio album by British-American pop rockers Fleetwood Mac lands at our #9 with a total of 40 million copies sold around the globe. Of course, we’re talking about Rumours, and with hit singles like Dreams, Don’t Stop and You Make Loving Fun it’s no wonder really.

There is about 99% chance that at some point you’ve already heard the opening song of 1977′s Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, the legendary Stayin’ Alive.

As another proof of just how far a global hit single can take you, The Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album lands at our #4 with a very well known opening song – I will Always Love You.
Performed by the late Whitney Houston and written by Dolly Parton, many agree that the song has in a way bested the movie it was initially made for.

With his second appearance on our list, the King Of Pop claims his throne as the absolute ruler of the music business. The late MJ’s Thriller managed to reach the staggering number of 65 million copies sold worldwide, making it the biggest-selling album of all time.
