3. Follow the installation prompts until you reach a point of entering in a password. Please use a strong password wth both letters and numbers as well as special characters.

4. After putting in your password press next and a command prompt window will appear. Wait a few seconds for all the tools to be installed and press any key to escape.

NOW THIS NEXT STEP IS IMPORTANT!

5. After everything is installed, the program will put a file on the desktop with a ".ost" extension. PLIZ PLEASE COPY THIS FILE AND SAVE IT TOYO UR EMAIL. EMAIL IT TO YOURSELF IF U MUST. this file is the KEY to tracking your stolen laptop so KEEP IT IN A SAFE PLACE.

WHEN YOUR LAPTOP HAS BEEN STOLEN :

6. Now when your laptop has been stolen having installed Adonea in it, go to another comp and install Adonea on it but this time tick only the recovery option. (step 2)

7. Go to the start menu and select the recovery tool option of Adeona then browse and select the file THE FILE I TOLD U GO GUARD in step 5

8. You will then be given an option to select the interval of the time and date from the day the laptop was stolen and the nuber of results you want to see.

9. That is it, follow the screen instructions to find the results.

WHAT U NEED TO UNDERSTAND!
To get information about the stolen laptop the thief has to use it on the internet so that
the software we installed (remember) ADEONA can get info abt the the IP address and local
network topology. with the info we can pin point the person's location. SADLY if the person does not connect to internet or changes the operating system we can never catch them :(:(
